Cylas CYgraph III FB

FB3 Laser Workstation

The CYgraph III FB system is mainly used for laser engraving and laser cutting applications. Its development is based on the experience made with its two preceeding models which have been being used for ten years all around the world, mainly for rubber engraving.

The new CYgraph III FB system combines the possibility of industrial rubber engraving with improved ability of sign labelling and cutting. Because of that it is possible to achieve the demands of large stamp producers with up to 16 A4 rubber panels per day as well as those of smaller stamp and sign manufacturers.

Demands on Laser Engravers

CYgraph III FB Seitenansicht Laser engraving systems have been available for several years. There are two main classes of applications: processes with a low (e. g. sign engraving) and processes with a high amount of ablation (e. g. stamp engraving). Effective removal of the accruing amount of dust is a substantial advantage of the CYgraph III  system which has not been realized in any other device so consequently.

Most of the devices currently available for laser engraving do not comprise efficient precautions for dust protection. This allows high velocity engraving of signs but cannot cope with large amounts of dust. As a result great efforts have to be made on cleaning the machine and long down times have to be faced. Some devices for rubber engraving use an exhaust nozzle und tubing connected to the moving optics. This however is adversarial if high velocities are needed. The patented technology of the fast CYgraph III  laser axis avoids these disadvantages and is superior for all applications.

The base concept as a split axis system — meaning the division of the axises in a fast-moving laser axis and a perpendicularly moved table — has the advantage of an excellent mechanical stability and allows both: dust-free encapsulation of the optical path and its easy alignment.

Main Features

  1. flatbed system with a table sized 3 A4 pages
  2. modern, maintenance-free CO2 laser
  3. "split axis" assembly for optimal mechanical stability
  4. closed optical path for protection of the optical components (not available in any comparable flatbed system)
  5. significantly extended cleaning intervals because of longer life cycles of the optical components
  6. improved suction unit, suitable especially for continuous rubber stamp production
  7. robust stainless steel cabinet
  8. automatic operation (rubber feed from coil optional)
  9. 50 W and 100 W systems are available as desktop systems, rack optional.
The 200 W system is only available as rack system.
